We are looking for a VP Sales to join our team that will be responsible for setting and executing the strategy for our global sales team. This executive will provide leadership of a growing sales organization with worldwide customers most of the Fortune500, reporting directly to the CEO.
Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Recrute and define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
Support sales managers and other sales collaboration teams in managing the ongoing process of prioritizing accounts and prospects
Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
Operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline generation and sales funnel management
Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners in multiple territories
Support sales managers in efforts to drive CRM usage and seek out ways to improve efficiency
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
Desired Skills and Experience:
Successful experience selling complex cybersecurity SaaS solutions is a must
Successful experience building and growing a channel
Experience with managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
Successful experience managing a minimum of 5 + salespeople
Experience monitoring and evaluating sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations
Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
Proven understanding of business operations, sales processes, and methodologies
Natural leadership talent, strong relationship building skills, and the ability to engage teams and create a culture of excellence
Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the key drivers of revenue growth
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
Experience building a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan
Experience hiring and onboarding sales representatives who go on to achieve and exceed sales goals
Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team
