VP of Sales

We are looking for a VP of Sales to join our team!


We’re looking for a VP of Sales to develop and execute the strategy of our global sales operation. This individual will provide guidance and leadership to our sales organization, which has a global customer base of Fortune 500 companies, modern startups, and elite government agencies. This executive will report directly to the CEO.


  • Devise plans and strategies for meeting the company’s ambitious business and sales objectives
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in the closing of strategic opportunities
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Define and oversee compensation and incentive programs to motivate and help the sales team achieve their targets
  • Support sales managers and other customer facing teams in managing accounts and prospects
  • Set and coordinate sales training programs that empower staff members to achieve their sales objectives
  • Operate in a high-growth and fast-paced environment
  • Set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline generation and sales funnel management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners in multiple territories
  • Support sales managers in their efforts to drive CRM usage and seek ways to improve efficiency
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership and other departments
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and develop key relationships

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Successful experience selling complex cybersecurity SaaS solutions—required
  • Proven success building and growing a channel
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
  • Have managed a minimum of five sales personnel at one time
  • Monitor and evaluate sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations
  • Utilize a CRM to manage sales team tasks, pipeline, and closing data
  • Proven understanding of business operations, sales processes, and methodologies
  • Natural leadership ability, strong relationship building skills, and the ability to engage teams to create a culture of excellence
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the key drivers for revenue growth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan
  • Experience hiring and onboarding sales representatives who go on to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team
